Applications

Applications to attend 3 and 4 year old kindergarten at Davis Street Kindergarten are accepted the year before a child is eligible to attend and must be submitted via this website, not through Boroondara Council’s Central Enrolment Scheme.  

Applications for 2022 are strictly accepted from 9.30am on 1st February 2021.  To ensure a fair and accessible application process, any applications submitted prior to this date and time will not be accepted.

About Our Kindergarten

Davis Street Kindergarten, inspired by the educational projects of Reggio Emilia, is a community of learners where children are encouraged to develop a strong self-image and a love of learning. Established in 1959, Davis Street Kindergarten offers sessional three and four year old kindergarten programs, and a Pre-Prep kindergarten program all of which are influenced by the educational projects of Reggio Emilia. Our programs are delivered by caring, creative and experienced teachers in bright, welcoming and inspiring classrooms with two stimulating, fun outdoor play areas. Davis Street Kindergarten is located in Kew, Melbourne.

In 2016 our kindergarten and program was assessed against the National Quality Framework by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).  We are proud to have received an overall rating of “Exceeding”.
